What are the top 3 accomplishments that you are most proud of?

1.) Receiving an NCAA scholarship.

2.) Being a Father.

3.) Making fitness a priority in my life.

What is your WHY? What lights your fire and makes you do what you are doing.

To be better each and everyday. The process to setting and achieving new goals in both my personal and professional life.

Legacy. What do you want to be remembered for?

A loyal Husband, Father and Friend.

What are some of the biggest mistakes you see young athletes making, what are some that you made that looking back you would have done differently?

Approaching athletics like a job too early in life. Enjoy your time at the rink or field. If its not fun, then you'll never put in the work required to reach your goals.

What do you like most about the PX3 AMP Program? Why is this program so important for kids?

I love the on ice segments. The kids get to work with different coaches who focus on different parts of their game. In this atmosphere the players get 5 or 6 experienced coaches who are familiar with their strengths and weaknesses. We know each athlete, and how to best help them improve.

Who is the person, coach, or institution that told you to quit or did not believe in you. Why?

The coach of my Midget AAA team. Told me I was too small, too slow and couldn't score. Those words motivated me for years to come.

What are some of the biggest obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are?

ADHD. As a student this made retaining information incredibly difficult. Reading was a chore and took much longer than my peers. I had to put in longer hours to keep up with my studies, but this has given me a strong work ethic and great time management skills.

Who is the person/coach who made the biggest difference in your life or believed in you when others did not?

My parents. I grew up in a hockey family, and it was their support and guidance that helped me reach my hockey goals.
